All skill levels are welcome. Anais’ workshops are tailored to each participant’s pottery experience.

Join Anais from Clae Studio for a 2-hour guided hand building pottery workshop at The Cider House in Kitsilano. This workshop is designed for all pottery skill levels; beginner to advanced.
Your final Clae project is up to you, Anais will guide you through basic hand building steps to make a bowl, mug, attach a handle, bud vase etc.
Find inspiration for your Clae workshop project here.
At the end of the workshop you will have the opportunity to pick a coloured glaze for your pieces, Anais will bring all the pieces back to her studio in Chinatown to glaze and fire. Your pieces will be returned to The Cider House for you to pick up in 4-6 weeks.
Clae Studio is an artist run pottery studio in Chinatown at 729 Gore Ave, with five working artists and workshop space for private and monthly pottery workshops. Find Clae Studio on Instagram @claestudioat729gore.
The Cider House has over 19 ciders on tap, mulled cider, great cocktails, and tasty snacks for everyone to enjoy.

Join Anais at Clae Studio on April 30th for a guided 2-hour hand building pottery workshop. In this workshop Anais will demonstrate making small plates and trinket dishes inspired by the Japanese pottery technique of Nerikomi. Nerikomi layers and mixes pigmented clay to create a variety of patterned and marbles designs.
This workshop is designed for all pottery skill levels:
beginner to advanced.
After the workshop Anais will fire and clear glaze your pieces and they will be ready to pick up in 4-6 weeks.

Spend Mother’s Day at Clae Studio for a 2-hour guided hand building workshop. In this workshop Anais will teach a few simple hand building techniques for participants to craft a bud vase.
